Once we made it to the summit of the ridge, we hiked along the Appalachian Trail for quite a while. It was very warm and a great day for a hike. It's a new piece of the trail that I hiked, which I can add to my sections... Thru hikers are people I greatly admire, but the most I aspire to is to be a Section Hiker. I want to do as much of the trail as I can, in little tiny sections. I need to get a big map and color it in or something.
Anyway, coming down was easier, because I hiked along the AT to a local road, and walked back along the road.
