Peak Leaf Day in Iselin

In spite of the rain, and two weeks later than last year, I hereby pronounce today to be Peak Leaf day in Iselin!!!
The rain makes the sky a bit drabber, so the leaves might not pop out as nicely, but I really think if you look carefully at the trees you'll realize they don't get any better than this.

Ahhh well peak is over here. It is now snow watching time. A few flurries so far. The Ski resort opened last weekend, but the weather warmed a bit and now it is probably all gone. But the temperature dropped again so maybe skiing will begin again soon.

In this part of the world, where I live, we don't really have an autumn. We've only read about it in books--and seen a bit in U.K, when we visited there.
Happy autumn!

I like a little bit of snow, but not a lot. My idea of a perfect snow is one where you know the night before that there isn't going to be any work or school the next day, so you can sleep late, and then it snows, and then it melts completely before the next day. And I only want that to happen like maybe three times at most during the year.

On the other hand, I would miss autumn. The change in the leaves always thrills me!
