Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

The question was asked, if you had it all to do over again, would you do it the same, or would you do it different?
But the real question is, COULD you do it different?
And CAN I break away from the choices that bind me constantly into the same path?
Can I be the same person and still not do the same things?

I wish I could have my cake and eat it too. And maybe try a different cake, but still keep this one. And pie is lovely. But that doesn't mean I don't like cake. But maybe pie would have been a good choice.

Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies.
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

Cellophane flowers of yellow and green,
Towering over your head.
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes,
And she's gone.

Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Ah... Ah...

Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain,
Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies.
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers,
That grow so incredibly high.

Newspaper taxis appear on the shore,
Waiting to take you away.
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds,
And you're gone.

Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Ah... Ah...

Picture yourself on a train in a station,
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties.
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile,
The girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

The new question now is....did you remember all those lyrics or did you have to look them up?

Or....if you did make totally different choices, would the universe or karma bring you to the exact same place today...if you tried to change would the universe let you.....dooo doooo dooo dooo (insert ominous sounding music here)
