College Prep

Frankie is a senior in high school this year.
He's taken the SAT's a few times, and he did pretty well.
Ever since the first SAT test, or maybe even before that, he's been getting boat loads of brochures from colleges. They all want him to attend. But they don't give huge amounts of information. Some are better than others. None of them can really show much about the college.

This is not ALL of the mail he's received. This is only a few week sample. It's been averaging like three letters a day for a good year now. Emails too. But at least they aren't killing the trees.

This pile all just went in the recycling bin.

Not particularly...
They just want him to apply.

If he gets four more questions correct on the SAT's next time, though, he has the potential for $4000 more from Rowan. If he gets in.

Hey sue,,,I thought you couldn't recycle envelopes with the see thru plastic on them. at least not in Robbinsville.

Has Frankie had any more thoughts of where he wants? and tell him to research scholarships based on his status as american indian and stuff through Panasonic.

Nobody ever said anything about the see thru windows to me before -- I'll have to check.

Frankie is more amenable to the idea of going away and he likes Rowan. He really doesn't want to apply to a lot of places. I hope he gets in!

Unfortunately, he doesn't have enough documentation and blood to qualify for most American Indian scholarships. I'm not sure about Panasonic yet. There are a few to apply to from the American Legion, and Scouts, and Crohns. Not many scholarships are as good as the one you got, though!

Pop is a card carrying Mohawk. Do you think his credintials could help Frankie in any way?

Who issued the card? We could ask them what the qualifications are. I tend to doubt it, though.

He got the card from the tribal councel in Kanawake. You are registered there as his child if I am not mistaken. Glen took care of all of that you can ask him. He may even have registered the grand children but I don't know.
