My computer has crashed, and it can't get up! And my nanowrimo is trapped inside! Arrgggh! Help me help me... (Ok, Frank's working on it. Cross your fingers.)

i hate computer crashes. the sick part is I know i should back up stuff. I have an external drive just for backup stuff. but i never do it. i haven't backed anything up since february. and when my computer crashes, i'll be screaming and wondering (again) how could i be so stupid...
