brrr. i grew up in snow. and i'm so thankful to live in an area where it doesn't snow.
the only time it should snow is christmas eve. when i was a girl, it seemed like it always snowed on chirstmas eve. i miss that.
but not the ice and the slush. it's nice not having to plug the car in at night. it's nice not to fall down because the ground is slippery (i fell at least once every winter. one time i was carrying groceries and got a big bruise).
yeah, it's beautiful coming down. i miss the quiet after a good snow. and i miss when the mountains turn pink.
but ohhh, to see tulips coming, and tree buds and flowers. spring.
here in northern california, the mustard is beginning to bloom whole fields of yellow.

Hi Seraphine...
We don't get as much snow around here as a lot of other people do, but by March, the only good thing about snow is having a day off from school. You're right, I love certain aspects of it, like the way it looks falling from the sky, or watching it build up when I know I don't have to go anywhere, but I'm quite done with cold. I'm so glad spring is in the air...

Northern California is supposed to be beautiful, never made it there but I would love to see it someday...
